COST Action IS1201 – Disaster Bioethics: addressing ethical issues triggered by disasters
A new COST Action has been funded to address Disaster Bioethics. This will run from 2012 to 2016 and bring together scholars and humanitarian relief workers and agencies to address the ethical issues arising in disaster relief and disaster planning. At the time of the kick-off meeting in October 2012, 19 countries were involved, and Dónal O’Mathúna was elected Chair of the Action. See the COST website for general information on the Action, and it will have its own website soon.
Those with expertise or experience who are interested in the project should contact Dónal either through this page or at DisasterBioethics@dcu.ie.
